Center for Experimentation and Formation Training in Agriculture (CEFA)

After spending ten years developing an agroforestry program, it has become necessary to advance beyond just the need for fruit trees and begin a program that seeks to give research, resources, and training assistance in all aspects of agricultural development to all the people groups of Central Africa, including the Fulani and Pygmy groups. People in this area need to achieve “food security,” and learning about new methods of farming with improved species of plants and animals is one way to help.

Colombia Education Foundation CEMPEC

The Education Foundation (CEMPEC) needs help with scholarships for pastors and leaders who are studying in the theology, missions, children’s workers, and social program administration programs. The Covenant Mission Committee in Colombia is working together with the Covenant Church of Colombia to purchase materials and to provide scholarships for attendance in ministry-oriented workshops and conferences being offered by local ministry groups.

Community Health and Agricultural Education

Community health involves charts, nutrition center supplies, and tools for nutrition garden at Gamboula, Central African Republic (CAR). Agricultural seminars are held at the center as well as out in the villages. Another goal of this project is to establish many village cooperatives, that are not only trained in the planting and caring of fruit trees, but, based on Matthew 22:37, encouraged to reach out to their neighbors, especially to Fulani or Pygmy people that need help in raising crops for food.
