Camp Director, Swedish Church Merger Among Most-Read Stories

CHICAGO, IL (July 6, 2011) – The selection of Erik Strom to be the next executive director of Covenant Point Bible Camp in Iron River, Michigan, was the most-read online news story on the Evangelical Covenant Church in June. He has served as youth pastor at Winnetka Covenant Church in Wilmette, Illinois, since 2007. He begins his new duties August 15.

Also of great interest to readers was the finalized agreement among the Swedish Mission Church, Swedish Methodist Church, and the Swedish Baptist Union to become one denomination, as well as a Minnesota Covenanter chosen to represent her state in the Miss America contest and her campaign to promote autism awareness.
