Ciccone Named Leader of ECC Youth Ministry

CHICAGO, IL (January 27, 2014) – Tim Ciccone has been named the Covenant’s team leader for youth ministry it was announced at the denomination’s Youth Workers Convention here on Sunday.

He currently serves as pastor of generational discipleship at Hillcrest Covenant Church in Prairie Village, Kansas. He also is a member of the Covenant’s youth worker’s speaker team.

The announcement by Doreen Olson, executive minister of the Department of Christian Formation, received a standing ovation.

“Tim is a deeply respected veteran youth pastor,” Olson said afterwards. He has served in youth ministry since 1993.

Ciccone has a certificate in Christian studies from Covenant Bible College, a bachelor of youth ministry from Northwestern Bible College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a master of divinity from North Park Theological Seminary.

He will succeed Marti Burger, who recently was named director of Covenant Events.
