Season to Grow Calendar

Last fall, the pilot church (Hope Covenant Church, St. Cloud MN) conducted the Season to GROW as a ten-week series--two weeks on each area of spiritual growth. Attached are suggested dates for the new Season to GROW at strategic times of the year: Fall, New Year, and Easter... Enjoy the season!

The information booth (photo) was built by one of the men of the church to provide a visible connecting place for communicating the Season to Grow experience and all of its components.  It was built to be portable with both wings coming off for easy movement.  The church will continue to utilize the booth as an information/mission outreach booth.

The psalm was written by a group as a formational experience. Putting the message of a psalm into our own language can often make its message more personal and life-shaping.   The reference to "hunter" God came from a young man who grew up in our congregation but has had a prodigal journey. He showed up at the GROW study after being absent from the congregation for several months -- may have attended once or twice over the past two or three years.  When we read Psalm 139, he saw God as a hunter who knew everything about the environment and about the "prey" being hunted -- in a way to save and not to destroy.  The young man felt that he was God's "prey".  He was warmly received and hopefully the experience will be a turning point in his life back to following Christ.
