Making Contributions
The Sustaining Pastoral Excellence initiative exists as the result of the generosity of a variety of agencies. This program is made possible through a grant provided by the Lilly Endowment Inc., financial support from the Covenant Ministerium, Regional Conferences, and individual givers. It takes a denomination-wide effort to develop the kind of culture that will sustain pastoral excellence. Working together we can encourage pastors, missionaries and chaplains to flourish in their relationship with Christ, enhancing our common ministry for the sake of the kingdom. The initial contributions allow the initiative to have a 5-year life cycle. However, if we are going to continue to provide proactive services to our pastors, additional contributions will be needed. These contributions will flow directly to our ministerial community. Gifts may be designated to provide spiritual direction for pastors, learning opportunities in the areas of preaching, leading, teaching, and caring or for renewal retreats. Financial gifts can be made out to "Sustaining Pastoral Excellence - Evangelical Covenant Church" and sent to: Attn: Rev. Dan Pietrzyk Department of the Ordered Ministry Evangelical Covenant Church 5101 N. Francisco Ave. Chicago, Illinois 60625 All contributions are tax-deductible and will be acknowledged with a receipt. If you have any questions please call (773) 583-3211.
