Tickets Remain for Weborg Dinner
CHICAGO, IL (January 24, 2006) - Attendees to the Midwinter Conference of the
Evangelical Covenant Church still have the opportunity to purchase a
limited number of tickets for the dinner honoring Dr. John Weborg.
The dinner is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. February 1 at Hamming Hall on the
campus of North Park University.
Tickets are $10 for Midwinter registrants and $20 for all others. To
purchase tickets, email Gavin Dluehosh at gdluehosh@northpark.edu or
call 773-649-8914. Tickets also can be purchased at the North Park
Theological Seminary (NPTS) admissions booth Monday through noon
Wednesday or until sold out.
Those who already have paid for the dinner do not need a ticket, but
those purchasing a ticket at the Midwinter will need it for admission.
The evening also will commemorate the forthcoming Festschrift
written in Weborg's honor. The essays in the publication will reflect
Weborg's interests in theology, spirituality, worship, healing, and
embodiment.
Those who are unable to attend the dinner, but who may desire to
contribute to the "Tabula Gratulatoria" in the Festchrift can
write a check payable to NPTS and mark "Weborg Tribute" on the memo
line. Contributions should be mailed to the seminary to the attention
