Single Day: $75 either day

Thursday, we’ll visit agencies in San Diego that address immigration issues, homelessness and trafficking. Cost includes round trip transportation, box lunch and facilitator/guide to help with processing the experience, feelings and sights.

The Justice Experience

We invite you to The Justice Experience— an experiential exhibit that enables us to learn more about the key justice issues addressed by the Covenant Church. It is designed to inspire you to become aware of and understand the monumental challenges of global poverty, hunger, human trafficking, abuse, criminal justice and racism.

At The Justice Experience, you will:
• Learn more about key issues
• Become aware of the plight of the oppressed
• See ways in which injustice exists in our communities
• Understand that God is a God of justice
• Be inspired to covenant with God to fight injustice
• Develop ways to reflect on and pray about injustice
• Learn about ministries that address justice issues

The Justice Experience is designed to move you from introduction to interaction; from awareness to engagement; from commitment to rootedness in Christ as you move forward.

Raise the Flag

Triennial is a time and place to connect with women from other nations, cultures, and traditions. Through Raise the Flag, we receive funds to bring to Triennial women from the countries where the Covenant serves in global mission. When we hear from voices different from our own, we all grow and learn. Help “raise the flag” of the nations of the world by making a gift to this effort when you register and pay for Triennial XIV.

Fun Run

Come out bright and early Saturday morning and enjoy a beautiful tree-lined pathway as you run, jog or walk this 5K or 3.1 mile course. Money raised through the Fun Run will benefit the girls school built by “Educate the Girls” funds previously raised by Women Ministries! The school, named Lycee Vanette, is now functioning in Karawa, Congo with more than a dozen girls attending. With the Fun Run funds, we will provide supplies and furnishings for the school to help make it a very special place for girls to gain much-needed education which then empowers them to earn wages which in turn strengthens the entire community!  Don’t miss out on your opportunity to be a part of this very special effort. You are encouraged to seek pledges to boost the value of your run! Register and pay for the Fun Run when you register for Triennial XIV.

Golf San Diego

Club rental is $50. Register here, and pay the golf club the day you play.

Global Marketplace

Products from around the world will be available at Triennial XIV’s Global Market Place. In keeping with the mission and vision of Women Ministries, the products showcased at the market are handcrafted from countries around the world where the Evangelical Covenant Church is involved as well as items from other like-minded ministries. You will see products that are produced by women whose lives are being restored and transformed from oppression and poverty to a place of hope. As you shop, take the time to learn about our partners in work around the world, and know that your purchases make a difference in others’ lives. In addition to our handcrafted items, the World Market Place will feature Triennial XIV, Women Ministries, and ECC items to serve as a reminder of your “Rooted” experience.

Covenant Bookstore

Covenant Bookstore will be at Triennial XIV with lots of great titles selected by keynote speakers and presenters. Additionally, the books by the authors in “The Writing Life” workshop will be available for book signings. Covenant Bookstore will be a part of the Global Marketplace.

Choir

You are invited to join the Triennial XIV Choir! We will sing on Sunday morning, joining our voices in a joyful, exuberant coral anthem. Choir rehearsal time will be announced at Triennial XIV.

Spiritual Direction throughout Triennial

Spiritual direction is a ministry of listening, discernment, and prayer in a confidential setting of encouragement and compassion. Through this ministry, a spiritual companion listens and helps you discern the presence and work of God’s spirit in your life. The goal of spiritual direction is that you would grow closer to God and become more the person God created you to be.

If you would like to meet with a spiritual director during the Triennial, please indicate your interest during the online registration process or contact Millie Lungren at (773) 442-6578 or millie.lungren(at)covchurch.org. Capacity is limited and will be handled on a first come, first serve basis.
