Invitation
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
– 1 Peter 2:9-10
The Midwinter is our time to “come away” for rest, equipping, fellowship, and renewal. It is an opportunity to allow God to restore and form us through worship, speakers, peer learning experiences, and workshops. This is your Midwinter and based on your feedback we are bringing innovations this year for your life, your ministry, and your walk with God. Please note the schedule and descriptions of new additions and changes that will enhance your experience at Midwinter.
We continue a six-year focus on Covenant Affirmations. This year it is Living Our Affirmations: The Church as a Fellowship of Believers. The people who formed the ECC 127 years ago were people who had been profoundly touched by a radical experience of new life in Christ. Being alive in Christ became the basis for connection, engagement, and mission. The very name “Covenant” denotes our commitment to living this life of faith together, however imperfectly, as imperfect people. That kind of community formed in Christ is rare in our world. In the Covenant we seek to live it out robustly.
Please come and join us as we seek to grow deeper in Christ and further in mission.

The purpose of the Covenant Midwinter Conference is to advance the good news of Jesus Christ by encouraging and equipping pastoral leaders (paid and unpaid) through education, inspiration, fellowship, and connection with the mission and ministry partnership of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
Midwinter is designed to serve: pastors, staff ministers, missionaries, NPU/CHET seminary students, chaplains, institutional leaders, retirees and spouses (pastors, staff, ministers, missionaries), laypersons exploring full-time ministry, and pastors exploring future ministry in the Evangelical Covenant Church.
