As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3
AN INVITATION TO MIDWINTER 2014
We invite you to join us in Chicago for Midwinter 2014. This year marks the seventy-fifth anniversary of Midwinter. It is our desire that you will be welcomed, cared for, inspired, challenged, encouraged, and equipped as you both give and receive.
The Covenant’s annual theme, Found Faithful: Loving Mercy and Doing Justice is undergirded by the theme of this Midwinter— Life Together: Bearing with One Another, based on Ephesians 4:1-13. Our common experience of new life in Christ and call to ministry draw us into a life together as a pastoral community. Join with your colleagues and explore what it means to authentically “bear with one another” and do life together as Covenant pastors.
Midwinter 2014 is an opportunity to network, resource each other, tackle tough biblical issues, worship, learn, and explore caring for your physical and spiritual needs. Come expecting to connect, reflect, rest, and grow. Midwinter isn’t the same without you!
